Kuala Lumpur, 12th Dec,2022 – Giti Tire participated in and supported the annual Evo Enduro endurance driving event, which had 100 cars carrying approximately 200 participants. Giti gave its newly launched GitiSport S2 tire to five selected participants for the expedition. Based on its performance in the motorsports industry, the GitiSport S2 is an ultra-high-performance tire that comes with an innovative design that provides high levels of precise control. Giti tires were featured on a Lexus ES250 Sport with an impressive and dramatic livery, giving the car an exciting Giti Tire Motorsport design.

The drive event started in Kuala Lumpur and will turn around at Mae Hong Son, Thailand. Overall, the 5,000km round trip will run for 12 days from December 12th to December 24th, 2022. The Evo Enduro participants began arriving at EvoClub Tristation as early as 6am on a chilly breezy morning before sunrise to begin their expedition.

Following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Evo Enduro 2022 drive has resumed and is designed to allow for more bonding time and networking opportunities among participants, with a greater emphasis on on-ground events and a less frenetic driving schedule.

Brunch at #dropthetop in Juru, Penang, Malaysia, signaled the start of the journey as cars departed for the border by 12.30pm on 12 December 2022. Upon arriving at the meeting point in MBI Danok, Sadao, participants will be welcomed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand before all heading to Hat Yai, Thailand at their own pace. Staying the night in Hat Yai, the participants will park their cars in front of the mall for meet and greet session with the public. On day 2, the participants will continue their journey, choosing their routes along the way. Each route has its own unique sights and the drivers are expected to reach the turnaround point of Mae Hong Son on day 6.
